Dreamer

Not much money
A poor girl living in a rich man’s house
Believing one day she will make her way to see him, a man on the other side of the world

There where he lives, colors splash of red and green
Peering in-and-out is a gray colored sky, which floats by slowly
It didn’t take long for him to enrich the heart of her wandering, chipped soul
Here, she learned to bridge all the missing pieces back together again

Wrapping herself around his image – all she knows of him, she discourages his foolish, dreamer ways
Yet, day after day her mind is heavy with crimson thoughts of him
Penetrating daydreams weighing heavy, like a hovering, dark wind

The enduring current subtly turns her face, reminding her of the avid dreamer she too is
And there she waits for him
Where alabaster rests to melt
